Association Profile

SEEPEA is an independent, non – profit Association, sustaining the interests of those private entities which are active in South – Eastern Europe private equity and venture capital industry.

How To Become A Member

An entity can apply to become a member through the application form that can be downloaded. Both Romanian and English version are available.

About Us
The South Eastern Europe’s Private Equity Association (SEEPEA) was founded in August 2005 by three Fund Management Companies with long experience in the region. These companies are:


     » GED (GED Capital Development SA)
     » RAEF (Romanian American Enterprise Fund)
     » SGAM (Societe Generale Asset Management)


The objectives of the SEEPEA are as follows:

      •  To act as a lobby group to enhance communication with state and local authorities concerning the benefits of Private Equity to economic growth.
      •  To represent its members in relationships with the media concerning points of general interest regarding Private equit.
      •  To enable best practice methodologies and PE approaches to be disseminated among the members.
      •  To improve syndication opportunities.
      •  To enable regular meetings between the PE Funds and parties interested in the industry, either as service providers, or as other financing entities.
      •  To adopt a Code of Ethics to which all members agree to abid
